headers for V-10 motorhome
headers for V-10 motorhome
Does anyone here have any experience with headers for the Ford V-10? I want to put some on my motorhome. Gibson only makes a shorty. Complete exhast, front to back $835.00. Banks has a good product but $2500.00 for exhast and intake is a little hard to swallow! The banks are long tube (very long) headers. I just remember no one got much out of the shorty headers on the L. Sorry this is off topic but I bet someone here has been down this road before.

Easy answer to this one I believe. Trade and get something besides the V10!! I know this answer will not be popular on this board but I believe it is the best answer. My dad just bought a new motorhome with the 8100 Vortech and Allison trans. - He drove several with the Ford V10 and everyone he talks with about the Fords adds the Banks system. I do think if you are gonna add anything and not trade, the BANKS is the ONLY way to go.
My dad will not buy a diesel coach for some reason. He hates to deal with diesel fuel. Worked around it a lot during his life and hates the smell of it burnt, not burnt and also hates the noise. He finally bought a motorhome that has the features of the nice diesel rigs but with a gas big block.
BTW, GET THE BANKS!!!
BTW, GET THE BANKS!!!
Haha thats funny, my dad sells diesel engines and he HATES them, he can name 100 things he hates about them, other than that they are bad engines cause they sure aren't. Wow were getting off this topic. Hell drop a lightning engine in there, its got enough power and plenty of aftermarket.
The V-10 is fine when not pulling a toad but I'm afraid that with one it will be a TURD! Without a a toad it pulls the 37' Pace Arrow fairly well.
