It seems they are building a new box as we speak. They are trying to increase the box size for a larger filter and larger inlet opening. They are adressing the temp sensor fit issue as well.

I mentioned to him they should consider an open ended element instead of the capped one and he said they were looking into that as well.

they were using an S&B 9" open ended element for a while, but switched to AMS (I think that is what he said). So if someone has a volant with a closed end filter element, you should be able to contact S&B and get an open one...

They are hoping to have product available by mid october so they can have it for SEMA, but who knows...

I forgot to mention fitting it for the 90mm MAF (larger tubing)

and the box will have a little panel door or something to accomodate some sort of under the front valence scoop or something. I guess they figure ram air actually works. It might help overall flow into the box considering a couple of folks have drilled holes in their volant...
