Well we just got back from the track Testing out our new JLP heads. The weather was down right HOT! 90*& 95% Humidity! Considering the conditions we are very PLEASED! With the results. We didn't make our goal of 10's (YET) But we did manage a 11.0 @ 121 in those conditions! My 60 ft. was way off a 1.60 Because i babied it off the line i didn't want to put the tires up in smoke on our 1st test on these with these heads. I did hot lap the truck and got right back in line after the 1st run. this time i launched it a little more harder. we got a 1.54 60ft. but the truck fell off due to being HOT! it went 11.1 @ 119.2 If i would have had that 1.54 60 ft. the 1st time we would have gone 10.89 according to my calculations. This is simply Amazing! We only stepped it up to 20.5# of boost. we will be testing again sat. And will be running a true 21-22# of boost. and i believe the 10's will be there! Even in this near 100* heat!The JLP heads are so far worth about .4 in the 1/4! we'll keep ya posted....JL

Nice work JL I have yet to have a good pass down the 1/4 but with your programming I have run mid 13's at 108 mph. I can't get any traction with the Nittos but I finnally got the Hoosiers from Bob so this next weekend I should be able to get a good run. New tranny some slicks and good air I think I can get a 11 I will let you know.

 

NCETRY: 108 mph? 13's? i say you need a little more traction! I did have 3 customers at the track too. they went #1 11.6 @ 117, #2 11.8 @ 113, #3 12.1 @ 110....JL

 

Nice numbers JL as for traction yeah I definatly need some The truck would spin the tires for about 300ft and that was pedling it and the truck wanting to get sideways. A definate handfull but fun And the Delta chip is awesome and the race setting already broke one of my driveshafts and it was an aluminum one too. Every one up here how I have told to get one of your chips has been satisfyed your doing a good job John. And I also had some amazing 2.3/2.4 60ft times
