i just put a # 8 lower on my truck and all i can say is that it surprised me. i have had a # 6 and a #2 upper for about a year and i thought that felt good. from a roll, the truck will spin the tires all the way trough second and shift into third before it hooks. it would only spin a short distance in second with the #6 lower. it is making 17 psi of boost and has no detonation. i may go to a #10 in the near future.

Can you give a list of what you've done to your truck? I've got similar things on the way and wonder if I'll have any trouble. Also what state/elevation are you in?

Call me a wuss, but +6 lbs sounded like a lot of boost on a stock lower end, let alone +8. How long ya figure it'll hold?

If a 1986 Buick V6 can take 21lbs. of boost, I'm sure a Lightning can take it, if you can find a desent tuner. Half of these jack-offs should be in jail. Ed
