Exclamation X-plan info on paying doc fee???

everyone who purchased your L on X-plan this is for you...

Did you pay the Document Fee? I thought I read somewhere here that you did not have to pay the doc fee if you used x-plan. If you did not pay it do you have some sort of site or info from ford blah blah that says you do not have to pay the doc fee? I paid it but they said I could get a check from them back if I showed proof from ford that I don't pay the doc fee for xplan users.

Anyone help me out with this one?

Z

You do NOT pay DOC fees on X-Plan. It's 1 low price and NO haggling! This is PER FORD RULES!!!

The dealer is just trying to rip you off. You should call Ford's Customer Service line and tell them of your dilemma. They are cheating Ford's plan for valueable customers like yourself.

Here:

Can I be charged a "document fee" by my dealer?
No. Fees for documentation or similar administration services are not allowed.

What's a "doc fee?"

I bought my L on May 2, and was charged no steenkin' doc fee: $29,027.35, out the door (truck, license, destination). Sales tx tacked on to that amount.

I bought it over the phone, and told them when I got to the dealership, I expected it to be EXACTLY that amount on the bottom line: no windshield etching, doc fees or any of their other BS-make-some-$$$-off-the-stupid-buyer add-ons.

They were true to their word and I was in and out in 30 mins.
