can i use 110 racing fuel
i have a super flip chip. like most flip chips, i had it programmed one side set for street performance and other track performance. my question is, can i put a few gallons of 110 racing fuel in say half a tank run the track side of chip and not hurt anything?? i have heard i can mix 100 octane in and probably be ok. the racing fuel is leaded, and that was my other concern. my tuner recommended only running track side when i have mixed in a few gallons of 100 into take. the best premium i can get in st.louis area seems to be 93. i appreciate any and all input. its great to have a site like this where so much knowledge can be shared. thanks again, Greg
Greg: You can mix race gas with your 93 and come up with something inbetween, octane-wise. I wouldn't use the 110 leaded , as you will ruin the cats and/or 02 sensors. A couple of gallons of it didn't hurt mine but I surely kept my fingers crossed for a tankful of unleaded after that mistake.
Here is a link that is another way to go:

I use it and Sal has said it's OK as it's a race gas concentrate not an octane booster(worthless).
