vacum noise with boost bypass?

I just made a do it yourself boost bypass and $3 dollars later I'm hearing a... Whining/whirring noise at times? The truck runs fine and all my guages work ok. Has anyone had this or know what causes it. It's not bad enough to bother me, just a new noise that I'm not used to yet.

I've triple checked. It's hooked up right. I'm wondering if when the diaphram opens and it is 'bleeding' off pressure and that is what I am hearing. Now that it recycles into my boost guage line it has an opening to let noise into my truck...?

I just unplugged the electrical connection. Never a problem on my '01, and now not one on my '02. No noises, idles fine, and no "soft" code either (I checked it w/ my Diablo Hellion). Go figure!
