Well, if we already have the largest blower Eaton makes, and that blower is at or beyond the point of efficient operation (which it is), and Eaton doesn't feel like making a larger one, then two M112's makes perfect sense.

The added cost will be maybe $2,000 or so. I'll bet Ford gets these blowers for well less than $1,000 each. Add in some extra pullies and belts and you have $2,000 in price addition.

Plus, two superchargers are twice as cool :
