Performance Friction Z rated pads??
I was wondering if someone that is running the Z rated pads could give me some feedback??
How do they compare with the stock pads as far as stopping distance and Fade??
How hard is the Z rated compound on the rotors??
Do they dust the wheels real quick and also will they stain the wheels if you leave the dust on any length of time??
Anyone know of a better street perfomance pad for the money??
Thanks!

Used the PF Z pads on my '93 GT with Cobra brake conversion. Squeals and chatters a bit when cold, grips isn't very good until the pad warms up a bit. Not too hard on the rotors, but it will leave quite a bit of brake dust on the wheels very quickly.
To sum it up, the PF Z pads work well enough for casual auto-x/open tracking, but definitely not to be confused with real race pads. It is a good compromise for a track/street car that spends most of its time on the street. Hope this helps.
