The reason why i disabled the chime is when i start my TRUCK and i let it warm up, i dont have to hear that annoying chime!

IN Ca its LAW to wear your seatbelt. Infact, they were the first state to make it mandatory in the 80's i believe.

ok - for simple things like that, i can understand... just don't ever make me have to pull any of you guys out of your trucks because you couldn't stand wearing the seat belt.

Ascii - i would think the fact they saved my life would be good enough... that's worth my money

Thumbs up

I wear mine religously!

I do because I took the air bag out of my steering wheel.
(It's the only place I could find to install my DVD player)

All you have to do is unplug it under the seat. That's what I did with mine and no light and no beep.

I don't know what open circuit you are talking about, I did this 4 years ago and if this would have been a problem then I think I would have known it by now.Did this on my wife's Olds LSS and no probs. Have been disconnecting them this way for years.

yup and that is all it takes. The light never shows itself again and all is well. No problems for me here.
