Kenne Bell TwinScrew!

I just spoke to jim @ KB and it looks like the New KB blowers should be ready this month. As far as HP gains over the other Blowers being offered as replacements. there just really won't be any comparison. the KB will most likely make twice as much HP @ TRQ @ the same boost levels! The Price will be $2999.99 and this will be a *direct* replacement. this blower will be able to make upwards of 24# of boost! (Trust me i know) We have already made over 550HP & 650 TRQ on the dyno! We have run a best (So Far) of 11.1 @ 123! Even this summer in 90* we ran a 11.2 @120 we got our best 60 fts! 1.52-1.54. All this was accomplished with 21# of boost and with a tune that was far from being on the edge.(Thats about 700 HP!) We have been doing a lot of testing and tuning for this blower all summer. and have learned alot these past 6 months. I Feel without a doubt when the customer finaly gets to bolt this blower on and test drive it. They'll have a *million* dollar smile! Remember we have been running low to mid 11's ALL summer! *Without* the help of NO2! I believe once we decide to step it up with NO2 low 10's will be there for sure! But were still trying to meet our goal of 10's without NO2! Once we get that 10 sec. slip without NO2. then we might just go ahead and put the NO2 to it. We have around 25-30 people on the list. so i'm sure before long we'll all see 1st hand which blower will kick some serious Asphalt! Give us a call or e-mail us if interested. 717.786.4670 JLP

Johnny got any pics to post of it ? And the 3,000 is just for the blower and intake correct ? Do you use the stock intercooler ? And im pretty sure you need built bottom end for the new blower right ? Any info would be great.

Hey Johnny, I have a question that you probably know the answer to. Does the KB kit come with a new intake like on your truck, or do you swap over your stock intake like in the magazine test article? I know your truck was one of the first with the KB, so I'm sure your intake is some kind of pre-production part, just curious what the production kit is going to use. Thanks!

This is from left field but ...I just wish KB would spend a LITTLE $ on the appearance...
I bet they will make a TON of boost BUT they are ugly... The older ones even more so... maybe they are making prgress in that area....

Good Luck JL. The cool air this fall should be fun !!!

Question What about the HD's

I assume this set up would work on the 02 HD's as well?

It would, but this is not a mod to put on a stock motor. You have build a motor to handle the kind of stress the blower will put out.

Question But what about the sound?

Does it still sound like a lightning? I love that Eaton sound, and most KB's I've heard have a rather disconcerting rattle rather than a whine.
Anybody have a sound file?

Lightning Tuner

Hey Tuner how are you? Tugbolt Here! How have you been? You backed up that 10.78 yet (or close)? Anyway why whould someone that badmouthed K-Bell from the git go (remember the 1st post about the 80 plus Hp's in the Mag Ads that blower whould give and you replied K-Bell blower's can't gain that on a N/A motor? I Do...) Why worry about the details..... I thought you had all the knowledge and sold the only aftermarket blower (a stock '03 cobra blower with an expensive snake like intake, blah blah blah!). I'm pretty sure that special M112 has similiar limits as the stock M112 does. Wanna disagree?
