Tugbolt: I see that you don't get on much since you only have 12 posts in 9 months...I also see that the only reason you jumped on this thread was to start trouble, why don't you just STAY OFF THE BOARD ALL TOGETHER!!!!!!!!!!!

Kenne Bell blower uses the lightning upper intake. I think Danny Swanson should have one in a couple of weeks.

Tug,

Why wouldn't he want to know what his competitors are doing? Would be silly not to. Seems like this was an innocent post, please don't ruin it by ridiculing sal.

JL can't wait to see the numbers on a stock lightning, from old blower to new at teh same boost levels. Might be pretty entertaining. Keep us informed. why not make one pass with n2o? Just for fun to see what it'll do, then go back to the prevoius goal of 10s on boost?

Tugboat I hate to disagree with you but I believe the 03 Cobra 112 is a side loader unlike the Works blower which is a rear loader (the stock Lightning 112 is a top loader.) I know you like to be accurate in everything you say so I thought Id point that out. Since the Works blower has more volume by rear loading it certainly seems it would have more capacity. I hope this helps you understand. If im incorrect I apologize in advance.

JL

Would you not recommend a bullet proof engine rebuild and a beefed up trannie with this blower?

I know in the truckin mag they had a stock bottom end on there truck.

I think whats breaking allot of these motors is the RPMS that people are pushing with the custom chips.

Either way to get the full effect of the blower your going to need a bottom end. HEHEHEHEHE

JL doesn't KB offer a polished version? I thought you said they did before. Thats what I want!!!!! I'll be getting one of those KB blowers very soon, as soon as I build the bottom end.

The new KB is a direct bolt on to the stock intake. I'm sure there will be a high flow intake available through KB at a later date.

I agree a 100% the Kenne Belle Blowers are FUGLY
Vin - I agree with you 100%. But I'd still love to have the power that sucker produces!

I don't understand what this means. Surely the KB won't double the power output of the Eaton at 8 psi. 355 rwhp on the Eaton at 8 psi means 710 rwhp on the KB at 8 psi? Am I reading this right?

The eaton adds like 120 hp to a stock 5.4 liter.......they are only referring to what the BLOWER adds to the motor not the total hp of the entire motor. So another words we would be pushing like 500hp with the swap
