All Lightnings are really nice... but they should have used '01-02 wheels, or came up with something better. Those things are horrible! Nut hey... that's just my $.02
LoL, gee, that sounds familiar, from like 2 years ago when the 01 wheels came out. A bunch of people thought they were ugly as can be, 2 years later when the next design comes out, the 01-02 wheels are awsome looking and the 03 ones are as ugly as can be. Hmmm, i have a feeling i'll be hearing this one again in another year or whenever the next rim design comes out

Yea, the wheels may take some getting use too.
To me they appear to be very close to the Dakota R/t wheels.

Very good point Harley! Don't worry, it's not like you hurt my feelings, this site is about sharing info and opinions. You're right though, I didn't like the '01-'02 wheels... that is... until I bought my '01! Oh well, life goes on!

I have to disagree. I never really liked the '01/2 wheels at all. Didn't think I liked the new '03 wheels either, but when I see 'em on a truck I gotta say they look pretty nice!

From: Tampa, FL, or Memphis TN... depends.
So not being a L owner (yet) and not knowing all the details... what is different in the looks department between an '02 and an '03 (and an '01)???

Ummmmm............. I believe the picture has fordf150.NET on it, not fordf150.com.

I sure do want some of those '03 rear leaf springs. I think they will keep the headlights from heading for the sky with a few hundred pounds behind the rear axle.

Rims are kind of so so looking, I'm also surprised they didn't come up with something nicer. I do have one question, I know about the new extra weight it can hold, but does it seem to sit a little Lower in the Back ??? What do you think

According to that "news release" Ford is putting a little 9" rear end in the truck. Think they ran out of the 9 3/4"?
