I don't understand-
I'm sitting in my office, looking at my Marauder poster right now, doing a burnout on the track.
That 4.6 may be small, but it's adequate- It smokes the tires on a Mustang, I can smoke the tires in both of the F-150's I've had, and it eagerly rolls my 6,000 lb Expedition-
THis car has everything the Impala SS, had + 27 more horses, (OK, it has 32 less lb. feet of torque), but it also has less weight.
This car, beats the Impala SS in every performance measure (It beat it by $9,000 on the sticker too from 1996 prices)- So, I don't think this car would be a bad buy- I wish I'd bought that new 1996 Impala SS that was still sitting on the lot in Jan. 1997.
I thought 26K was too much- Now I see 1994's, with 50,000 miles, selling for $17,000 - $21,000.00, 1996's for $24,000. I think the Marauder will be a hit as well. I saw three on the lot here in Plano, but none on the street yet...
I think FoMoCo should've dropped in the 5.4L, as is (260 HP/350 lb. ft) and it would probably be quicker in the quarter, but they didn't, so we'll have to adapt...
