$1,300 later and the trucks back together after blowing a plug. Ford agreed to pick up half the tab for the new head and one of the coil packs. I had all of the plugs and the rest of the coil packs replaced while I was at it and it really seems to have awoken the truck up a bit. Sure did suck having to drive the wifes car all week. Oh well, biggest lesson learned here was to periodically check the plugs. If only I had done that last week before dismissing the ticking I heard as an exhaust leak.
