Question Looking for real value of 99 Lightning

Hello all! Its's been a while since I have hung out here. I hope some people can help out.
A friend of mine asked me what his truck might be worth. I looked on NADA and Kelly, they say over 20-23K. What has anyone that bought one recently paid, or sold, or trade in recieved for their truck. It has 15k miles and has never been modded or abused at all, if you can believe it! He is 72 and wants a new one. I doubt the tires have ever been lit up!
Real prices only, please.
Thanks!
Tom

That's about the right price. There are 01's around my area for around 26k w/ almost no miles.

99 L

I bought one on 4-30 of this year and paid $26K for mine in mint condition with no mods, not even window tint or air filter.
I even talked to the previous owner (since I ask for the OASIS report first and found his name on there) before buying mine.
These are not like a regular F-150. Those depreciate very quickly...I traded a 99 step side quad cab in on this one and after paying for 3 of 5 years on that truck I only got $1500 back out of it. (Then again, it had 60K miles and was missing the tailgate)

What hole did you crawl out from!!! I thought you fell off the earth!! I guess Tom has a new girl friend he wants to impress. There was one on the lot near me and they were asking 21,500 for it so I would ask about 22.000 retail or for trade in if you ars talking retail. Most dealers will not want to give you anything but wholesale, see if he can sell it local,in his area I am sure he can. Give me a call or E-mail me so can B.S. Tell Joan I said hi.
