Also put this in, though it was a PITA to figure out how to mount in the stock battery location.

(Its smaller then the OEM battery)

I just turned the stock bracket over on it's side drilled a new hole and filed it down a little.

The rims and brakes look awesome.

I want them Brembos

Where? I was trying to figure out how. I couldn't see how to put a bolt through the bottom without it hitting the metal underneath. Dunno if its different in diff model years, but my battery tray sits flush/flat against a steel piece underneath it except where the two screws on the far corners are.

If you got the greenbacks for those Brembo brakes, you need to order a Billet battery holder for that Optima, in colors too. Sweet brakes. www.eddiemarine.com

$5 optima battery holder

I just went to Home Depot and bought some Epoxy Putty. mixed it, through it in a ziploc, fit it under the stock holder and around the central cell of the battery.

Poof! Custom battery holder.

They look awesome. Now how is the stopping power and did you have to mod the rims any to get the brakes to fit?

I was looking at that...how did you attach it to the panel in the engine compartment?

BadAzz -- I can feel the improve breaking power already, though I havn't had a chance to go out and really stomp on it. The guy I bought them from already modified the calipers to fit under 1999/2000 wheels, so I didn't have to worry about it.
