Towing with the L.

I am going to Ft Myers tonight to pick up a boat and was wondering if I need to do anything special when towing with the L. I am going to set my chip on the tow setting and if I go up any major hills take it out of OD but other than that is there anything I need to look at. It is a Baja Hammer and only weighs 4000lbs so I should have no problems. The trialer has thrust brakes so that will help some.

It should do fine. My boat weighs about 3000-3500 lbs total (boat/trailer/etc) and the Lightning tows it just fine. When I am in city traffic with alot of stop n go traffic, I leave the OD off. On the highway, I leave the OD on.
I also have a 2" drop reciever that is flipped over so it raises the ball slightly.
