110 Octane

Question 110 Octane

My local BP Gas Sation sells 110 octane . Will it be ok to run it on a stock motor. Will i gain anything?

unless you've got a chip tuned for that high of octane, all it will do is make you go slower

You can have your timing advanced more if you run 110. I would recommend a two program chip or another chip when you run that gas.

110 is LEADED fuel 104 is as high as i have seen unleaded. dont run it or it will cost u!

I thought 110 seemed high for unleaded. We can get 104 unleaded locally and I have run it and achieved minimul gains.

Running leaded will cause numerous problems!!!
DONT DO IT!! I have seen peoples cats glowing red due to problems with trying this.

Oh, man. I tried that stuff a few weeks ago at the track, they had some 110. I ran about 1/8 tank of 110 mixed with the 1/8 tank of pump gas I had in the tank.

I sure hope I didnt' screw anything up.

I didn't even think to check if it was leaded or not. Never again!!
