anyone try to put one of karkraft's Harley Davidison grilles in their Lightning? They look pretty nice, but wondered if they fit the shell without too much modification.$79.00 isn't a bad price. Thanks---Jim

 

Should be a direct swap with the L grill, or any other post '97 F150 for that matter. I wanted to get one for the wife's Expy, but of course Ford made the Expy grill surround different...

You will need some kind of matching lower grill though, as the stock will look strange with the Harley upper.

It looks like the upper is chrome and the lower is billet. I wonder how they look together?

atlest the karkaft grill will fit a 01+ right

 

the HD lower grill is smaller than the Lightning grill. it won't fit in my opinion.

I saw a true blue 02 at FFW in Atlanta with a HD 2002 upper grill. The upper grill looked very nice, but the L had the stock lower grill and it didn't look to good with them being different.

It would look good if the lower lightning plastic grill was chrome plated.

 

News flash---That is not a 02 Harley upper grill (that one has vertical slats)
