yup :(

Tell me about it. If this is the switch in the door, I'm guessing it was the B-quiet (I probably got some in it)

The fan is just a heat issue from the SS headers...

But still...

COldie,

A few places you can check if your handy with a multimeter (*and assuming your truck is out of warranty)

First off does it have keyless (i think lightnings come standard with it, cause its not listed as an option on my window sticker)

Ok look by your fuse box behind dash and you will find the GEM module. This is the module that does all of the keyless, domelight delay, and a bunch of other happy HS in your truck. There are two wires going into it that we are looking for specifically,

Black/ Yellow--Drivers door pin.
and
Black/ Pin--Passenger door pin.

Get your meter out and check both wires and see if either is showing ground(bear in mind you have to have both doors closed for this test, or at least latch the door (2nd click) so it will depress the switch in teh door. . if either of these is showing ground then go to that switch in teh door. if not replace the module. =(

Hope this helps
Brandon

Can't find those

Crazyone:
As far as I can tell there is no black/yellow pin. I've got a service manual and it says to check wires that aren't there...

I guess I'll have to take it in to the dealer. Wish my warranty luck!

Just in case anyone cares (just kidding myself here):

Question

is that module the thing under the dash that keeps them on for a few seconds then makes them go out??
