I just installed a Diablosport chip and have been happy with it but had a question about the shift changes it made. The transmission is shifting much more firmly now especially as it goes into 3rd (Other gears are noticable but that seems to be where its most violent). For example It shifts from first to second with no real problems but as I let off the gas right before it shifts into 3rd... It will continue the shift and truck will jerk HARD. This doesn't happen all the time, usually only when the RPMs are up. When it jerks, I can hear a squeel that sounds like a belt slipping . I guess i'm just curious if anyone else has heard or had this happen to them and if I should be worried?

Sounds like my diablo program when i had my L last summer. One of my best friends is a diablo dealer, and i tried about every file they had. I even talked to Patrick at Diablo. What i found to be the best, was to put in a level 10 shift kit (or just a line mod is fine), and run the same chip program WITHOUT any tranny programming.

 

What is your computer code? i was log onto the diablo dealer site and see what files they have to offer.

Wow, a 2001 was CXN1, and last year there was only 6 different files for it. Now there is 35!
