My warranty runs out anyday also. With only 22k miles, but I hit the end of 36 months.

Where to you get the balancer from? Are you happy with the magnaflow set-up or would you have gone a different way if you could go back? Thanks for the help.

Hurtin for certain...not

Here is the scoop, Ford is willing to pick up 80% of the bill. I spoke with the service manager and he told me that a clamp was probably loose. He is still going to replace the fuel pump just in case it goes out in a few months, he said he might get in trouble if it fail down the line (HMMM? ). He also said I would prpbably end up paying about $200.00. Would'nt it be easier to just tighten the clamp? .

See ya,

Smile Hurtain for certain

ricekicker...

I have had quite a few of exhaust systems on my Mustangs and I do like FLowmasters but I am 100% happy with Magnaflows. I had the place that installed them weld a piece of piping pre the Magnaflows 1 1/2 diameter. Solid deep deep deep sound!!!! A sure head turner, not loud just deeeeeep.

PSBOUND,

Ford should pick up 100% minus a 50 or 100$ deductible. That's a manufacturing defect, and is covered under Federal Law (Magnuson-Moss Act). Get it fixed, and send the bill to the Ford Aone office and tell them you want it covered 100%.

Email me when you get out here, we'll hook up!

Final Hurtin for certain

How can I thank you guys...... Especially crazyone for your exp and suggestions.

I got my truck back yesterday, paid $170.00 for new fuel pump and filter " ford covered 80% " They said the clamp was loose but preffered to replace it, in case damage occurred while using it with a loose clamp.
I believe that was fair, If I had the tools and not in the transition of moving to Palm Springs " living in an apartment until the house is done being built " I would have tried to repair it myself and could have possibly saved the $170.00.

Thanks again

Ford should have cover it all but,

cost of new fuel filter, plus installation also came out of $170, so not that bad?
