Ok I've given the L ample breakin, now its mod time. Which tuner is the best?
Right now I am narrowing in on an Eclipse unit. But the Alpine decks are pretty good for the money/options as well. I've always heard that the reception on the Pioneers is excellent but I'm not buying one based on radio reception.
As for go fast parts, set a goal for what you want the truck to do and keep in mind what changes you make that will require chip reburns. Think through the mods logically so you keep those reburns to a minimum. And, if possible, have someone do the burns on a dyno in YOUR truck. And, go back and read the last month or two of posts here. Make sure you know what you are getting into...

But trust me...JDM, JL, and PSP are ALL that good. We're talking chips, pulleys, and filters here. Not much to them. Now, I wouldn't let someone tune my truck who ain't done a good many of 'em, but all 3 of these guys have done thousands.
BBQ, Wendy, BfB, you all are right on the money, just like this board. At times this board does remind one of a giant infomercial. Not to say there is not worthwhile info, but certainly buyer beware is the order when it comes to supporting vendors.
Yea, I figured out that I'll put some JJ's Traction bars and some 02' chrome wheels first. Then I'm getting the Factory Tech valve body prolly with the deep pan. Just not ready to give up the orifices yet.
hmmmm
shift firmness and a stiff 'suspension' before taking on orifice induction and/or exhaust is recommended and preferred, or something.

Speedin Bob,
I thought the Dr. told you to lower your dosage.
BTJ
BTW, Nasty Wendy, great choice with JJSSVT traction bars.
