skylines could be a future threat...

No PS2 experience here, but I owned a '90 version back in my days on Okinawa. I can tell you those things were feared on the street even back then. Even the RX-7s and Supras respected them, because they were very fast for a (relatively) big sedan. The one I had was rwd and a single turbo, but since then they've gone to awd and TT. With just a few tweaks, they run 12s, and with a few mods can get into the low 11s. Definately not a ricer car.

I'll tell you what. . .I don't normally care for asian import cars too much. European cars are nice, but no rice as a rule. But the Nissan Skyline has always been the lone exception. To me, that car is everything you can ask for. Roomy, comfortable, FAST AS HELL, sporty, and luxurious/classy at the same time. When & if they ever come here in any production numbers to speak of. . .I'll be in line for one- because just like the Toyota Supras. . .chip, exhaust, and air filter and you are knocking on the 11-second zone. I'll always bleed Ford Blue, but that Skyline is sexy. Real sexy.
Just my $0.02 worth. . .
