Changing fuel filter on '01 L >>>

Hi everyone,

Last week while at JDM I mentioned that I get a very slight hesitation at about 3.5k on the 2-3 shift. Rich suggested changing the fuel filter. I got a little sputter this morning on my way to work lower in the RPM band and that was enough to convince me to change it asap.

My question is...what is the part#? Can I get it at Strauss or Autozone? How hard is it to change? If anyone has done it and could point me in the right direction, I'd appreciate it.

Thanks in advance..

Dan

How many miles do you have on your truck? Seems a little early to have a clogged fuel filter. :-/

Thanks,

7,400 miles. It doesn't seem like a big deal to change, so I'll start there. If it still happens, I'll start asking questions.

Thanks..

Just be sure you get a quality "removal" tool...you're wasting your time if you don't.
