I'll tell you this first hand. The powertrain engineers that I know at SVT(SVE) wouldn't be happy designing toasters. They are power nuts like the rest of us.

With the future of SVT performance in their hands and people like John Coletti at the helm, don't expect anything watered down.

But, that's just what I think...
This I understand and agree with. I guess I wasn't very clear before. The point I was trying to make was the SVT version of many cars could be placed in the hands of mainstream engineering folks instead of the gearheads at SVT. For example, like how the same people on team mustang do both the V6 and GT versions of the same vehicle. If you give them the Cobra on top of the other two...

If left in Coletti's hands, yes, that would be great.

I don't think SVT will become just a badge like many manufacturers have done. For some reason, the Dodge R/T comes to mind.

"Excuse me, will that be a POS R/T or a faster version or our ever unpopular POS R/T"?

I just can't let it go....

Oh, come on...

TampaSVT,

You know very well the SVT powertrain engineers would be just as happy designing toasters that spit out 380 pieces of toast per minute.
