I ripped mine like a n00b on the end near the tailgate, and I would like to buy another factory tonneau. The local parts house told me 375.00 for a replacement and that is too much markup.

 

The factory tonneau cover that comes on the Lightnings is not special. It's the same one that all the F-150's have. Your best bet is to find someone who has one they've taken off, or try to get one from a dealer. Sometimes they take the covers in under warranty due to a bracket breaking or something and will part it out to you cheap. (That's how I got mine - $50, Lou Grubb Ford in Scottsdale, AZ.)

I would scrap the old vinyl and go for a hard top or Retrax.

Thanks for the feedback thus far. I should probably buy a snuglid or other hard top instead. I am not very fond of the factory tonneau ends near the tailgate the seem to flip up a bit. It looks kind of cheesy IMHO.

 

buy the one for the harley truck.nothing better if you like harley bikes.
