Ok I have noticed a squealing noise coming form under the hood. been going on about 2 weeks. I wanted to see if it went away obvioulsy not. I am running 2lb lower JDM pulley.


OK so today I decide to take the SC belt off to see if it is one of the idler pulleys. Start the motor still squealing like a pig. I am sure its 1 of 4 things . AC, Lower pulley, tensioner, and Power steering pump. It varies with RPM.


Anybody have similar problem? Only 14,000 Miles on 2000 L

I though tit was that, but if I started the truck with the Supercharger belt off it still does it. Now that I went out last night its not really a squel but more of a groan. Which makes me think it may be the power steering pump. BUt with every thing so close to being together its hard to tell.

Sounds like the tensiioner pulley. I had 2 replaced on my V8 explorer, then 1 on my previous 99 F150...none yet on the L though......sounds like a horrible racket when they go bad.
