Since I know some of you have joined EAA and got your Lightnings at X plan price, I have a question. Do any of you know if you can share your X plan with someone else? I joined EAA before they made yopu be a member for one year and have not used my pin yet. I have a co-worker who is going to buy a new Explorer and wanted to help him out. I called EAA but the lady who works at EAA was not positive. She thought that only the EAA member could buy the vehicle.

From what I've read on the member web site you have to keep the vehicle registered in your name for a minimum of 6 months. I don't believe you can share the pins.

When we purchased our GT last year, they had to see my license in order to verify the EAA card...

Don't think you could let someone use it...?
