Do you have a chip? If so, make sure the contacts on the computer are clean, then clean them again. Use some duct tape to hold the chip in.

Do you have a chip? It might be loose. Duct tape that baby down after checking the contact.

Disconnect the neg battery cable
Unscrew the harness from the computer (firewall of pass. side engine bay...long with LOTS of cords in it)...should be 10mm
Remove comp from inside kick panel
Pull chip
Make sure the copper contacts are clean
Turn lights on for 10 or so seconds to clear any residual memory from truck
Put chip back in
Duct tape the **** out of it (to hold it on the comp)
Place back in kick panel
Plug harness back in and tighten bolt
Reconnect battery cable
Crank 'er up!

grgreves,

These guys are probably correct. However, if you have an aftermarket mass air meter, you might want to check that out as well. My Pro-M acted up on me right after I got it.

Duck: You left a very important step out--Turn the lights OFF before you reconnect the battery .

This could be something to check out

Check the bracket that holds the chip in, if the tabs were not bent back it could be causing the chip to loose contact with the terminals.

I know it is a pain in the butt to remove and reinstall, but it will be worth it in the long run.

Take a look at this pic, and bend the bracket the same way. Doing this will keep the chip from loosing contact with the terminals.

Echoing what Don Said. Itis a PAIN to remove the bracket but get it out put a small slice in it and bang the metal near the chip flat with the hammer of your choice.
Keeps the chip happier
Dont know about you but I want my chip to be happy...

The cause of the stalls is from driving on the wrong side of the road.
