My First Mods For 02, Thanks JDM

Well on vacation this week. So since I live about an hour from jdm. I decided to take a ride to nj and see all the goodies everyone talks about. Well I was not dissapointed. Nice people at jdm. I ordered the silver bullet exhaust and said call me when its ready. also couldn't resist taking home the cold air kit. That filter was just staring at me the whole time I was there. Can't wait for the bullets though. And since there has been so much neg B.S about tuners lately. I'am not going to throw a fit on the boards if its not ready when they said. As I have know seen with my own eyes how busy that place really is. Its no wonder they can get anything done the phone does not stop ringing at jdm. Well I'am off to put my new filter kit in. And think about my next mod factory tech comes to mind. If I don't eat lunch for the next month maybe I can hhhmmmmmm. Dennis............

It's Scary

Living so close to JDMs.To just be able to drive there and get what you want. You learn so much about these trucks by just hanging out and B.S.ing with other L owners and the staff.
It almost makes up for being in the armpit of america.

You know, aside from the *healthy air * and the nowhere near like the Caribean ocean/beaches, I enjoy NJ.

svt 2002 - glad you like the stuff, I'm sure you'll meet more uf Jersey guys there as time passes.

svt 2002: Did you get an Outerwear 'sock' to fit over the air filter? IMHO, it's a necessity--keeps you from having to clean the oiled filter but doesn't reduce the power. It's about $25 from any of our tuners.

Well just got back from installing the filter kit it was an easy job. I went for a long ride after putting it in. I think the idle may have even dropped a little. seems to be even a little more responsive. off the line or maybe its just all in my mind. I did not get the filter sock but when I go pick up the exhaust I will be sure and get one. Thanks for the responses guys. I have a feeling I will be at JDM quite often now that I know how close they are . I hope to meet some of the people from here. well all I can do now is wait for my silver bullets. maybe my next road trip will be to sal's he is only about an hour away to. how good is that I live right in the middle of our favorite tuners. and as if thats not good enough my parents live about 10 minutes from JLP in PA. boy life is good right now. If only my wife would let me sell the furniture. I could get a chip and a water pump and a fan. or I could trade her in for a stage 3 jdm package. hhhmmmmmmm I'am going to miss her. Dennis..........
