Unhappy Front tires rubbing.......

Lowered my L 2/3. Did the endlink change. Have Belltech shocks on. Truck handles like a dream around curves. Now the problem is when I go to my usual twistie road to try it out my front tires rub inside the top fenderwell like a ****. Yes this road has alot of quick drops or drastic hills so it only does it here. Still it is irratating.

So my question is, what shocks should I get? Im guessing I need stiffer shock. I also want ones that will ride nice on the highway since I do alot of driving. These are the ones I have in mind.
*Edlebrock IAS
*Doetsch
*Doetsch Adjustable's
*Bilstien
*Or maybe, only 1 pair of QA1's

What do you'all think??

I put the Edelbrock IASs on my 97 xlt F150. I would not use them again.

I think Spike Engineering is 'high' on the QA1s.

You tested the trucks new handling characterisitcs on a road with bumps and quick drop offs?

find another test road or slow down.

Sounds like too soft of springs to me. What is the spring rate?

Shocks won't help. Different springs and/or tires&wheels will help.

You right. On the highyway it handles great. Even though it still rubs when at high speeds on the highway I hit a quick bump or dropoff.

Okay, im not ready to change tires and wheels yet. So by different springs im assuming you mean stiffer, right? What other kind of springs can I get to correct this problem and still keep my front-end drop?

Thanks everyone.

lemme guess, Eibachs?

A set of specific rate springs should alleviate some of your concerns.

I'm running a set of 1000/lb coils from Ruslow and have no ill effects. Ok, maybe a little loss of ride quality and still have a drop.

It boils down to better handling and bit rougher ride vs. handling like ****e and riding like you're on a cushion. I'll take the former.
