Question Yellow stainless steel tips...

My tips have turned yellow due to heat. Can anyone recommend a way for me to bring them back to shiny silver?

(fan died on my and truck got pretty darn hot causing the yellowing)

Just surface?

The yellowing is only surface color? I thought it was a reaction that occured throughout the steel (and you have to reverse it somehow)

Hadden,

I've got it. Run the truck in reverse until it gets cold. HEHEHE

Seriously, Mother's mag and aluminum polish should clean it off.

I've seen stainless bright blue from heat due to welding and after a stainless brush and buffing wheels, it's like new.

Stainless seems easier to shine up when it's hot
