NO boost ,bottom end loss for sure and headache to boot . I did it and it only lasted a day . Too much noise in the cab .Our trucks sound much better with a little exhaust and whine ....JMHO

I got the two in two out Magnaflows from JDM and they
are perfect except for 12 hour drives .... Just bring
excedrin .... <grin> They are EYE openers for the
people you blow by ....

Also, Crazyone needs to boost my stereo system up so I can
hear it now with the Silver Bullet ....

I ran straight pipes and it sounded awesome. The only reason I removed them was to go race. I needed mufflers.

IB FAST, What is a prototype pinion snubber? And did you use the straight pipes and how did they sound and did you lose any HP,Boost or torque?

Fordsrus, a pinion snubber is a traction device and about this time last year me and a bud[real drag racer] decided to fab one up for my L.
My conclusion was it worked on the street but i never had much of a chance to experiment with it at the strip[it is adjustable] and i took it off for warranty work and never used it again.

The straightpipes are good for a little mph on the high end but you lose a little tq on the low end.
They also are fairly loud and you would have the dreaded 2k drone on long highway trips...this can be annoying.
They also have a farting sound at times and chevy owners just hate when you do a wot run nex't to there open windows on the freeway
Nothing comes close to longtubes,hi flows and a decent cat back for sound and power but the straight pipes sound better than the wimpy sounding but well designed stock exhaust imho.

How much do you think shipping would cost to ship them to Crescent Springs, Kentucky? I think i'm interested in them.

The straight pipes complete with welded hangers in place weigh around 14lbs so figure 15 lbs.
The pep boys tips are all rusty on the inside and somewhat rusty on the outside.

The snubber weighs 10lbs[made out of 1/2 and 1/4 inch steel.

If you want to figure out how much shipping is from Grand Rapids Michigan and want either or,then shoot me an e mail and maybe we can work something out.
