Having just sold my 1970 J-Code Torino Cobra, there was a hole in my garage needing to be filled. Earlier this week I bought an '02 Lightning and would like to replace the stock exhaust. I'm aware of several brands of exhaust kits but have never heard any of them. I'd like something with a throaty sound, similar to the big block in my Cobra. What are the opinions and recommendations of the list members?

Does anyone have any experience with the Borla exhaust?

 

Just recently traded out my Borla for a Silver Bullet from JDM. The Borla can't be beat for fit and Build quality; but, you will not get anything like "the big block sound" from it.

 

I know most of you guys are useing bassani but any people out there useing magnaflow?? I've been looking into the muffler and it looks pretty good for price. Any advice would help, thanks

 

Actually I would say more people use Magnaflow than Bassani.

I pulled my Magnaflow off and installed the Bassani.The Magnaflow is ok if you have to budget the exhaust but it doesnt compare to the Bassani.

 

And you might add, you get what you pay for

 

Definitely.The Bassani is hardcore beauty.This is top shelf.

I like the tone of the Magnaflow's. Here are some pics of my mufflers and JBA headers.

 

I'm thinking of ordering the silver bullet. Does anybody have any comments on quality and which Magnaflow is JDM using for the single muffler system?
