Madhouse, is there room to slide the tips on another inch? They stick out too far for my taste. My concern would be if there is room to slide them in further, then they wouldn't be centered. So to center them, the muffler would have to slid furher up towards the front of the truck. Is there room for that too??
Thanks.... Joel
Thanks.... Joel
Shoots - I don't really know about the power, except that it didn't take anything away, or make it sluggish at all. If there's any gain, it's probably minimal.
Chainsaw13 - You can definitely hear it at idle. It's got a nice low rumble, nothing like stock. Hold it out at 2500 and it sounds real good!
JoeLightning - There is indeed room to move them back. I'm going to get under there this weekend and snug up all the nuts and such, an pull the tips in just a little bit. They can be adjusted up, down and side to side really well actually.

Struck - the day after I put it on, I twisted my carpool bud's arm to take the Lightning in to the office
and we took the HOV, where there's a concrete wall 4 feet to each side of you. Even with the echo from the wall there was no bad drone, and on the highway coming home we cruised around 2400 rpm or so, and it didn't get bad there either. I was looking for that magic rpm where the thing just hums your ears off, but haven't found it yet.
