Bad Moon Rising
Well the L is now due for its 10,000 mile check up and its built a weird sound to go along with it. I had some issues earlier with my 6'er and my chip, i had some mild detonation but in time it went away assuming i had some really bad gas here in california. Since then ive changed gas and the detonation problems seemed to go away. Now after a strong run with a Dodge Viper my engine while at 1/4 throttle makes a sputtering or a spitting air sound, sounding like its from the left side of the engine. Its a very consistant sound i thought maybe it was a plug misfiring havent got around to checking them yet. Either way its going to the dealership for a checkup. Has anyone else had this sputtering or loose air sound ever? It happens only at 1/4 throttle at low speed and low rpms and sometimes on a upshift in OD. Hope it isnt anything serious

No. 1, 2, 3, or 4 plug is getting reay to launch . I t will not go thru the water box. Btw, drive with your hood up if you don't tighten or change the plugs
.
J/k, but something bad is about to happen...................drive it real slowly to the dealer if you're not going to check the plugs yourself.

took it into the dealership took them one extra day to figure out what it was. Its an air leak in my exhaust manifold gasket which is kinda what it sounded like, not only that but the spark plugs were loose on the 2 & 4 they were quickly tightened.
