Cool Calling Houston "L" owners

Just wanted to see how many "L's" there are running around Houston. I will probably be moving there from D-FW within the next 6 months. If your down south, sound off!
Thanks
Ryan

Come on Andre I can quote numbers too... There are 103 registered members on the TALON forum does that mean we have 103 members ? NO...

If you have 41 get them all to show up at the same spot and hold still for a picture.....

Doug,

We have more than 41 members in our club. 41 is the most Lightnings we have had at one time.

HALO has had more than 20 L's at a race event, much less pictures. Have near that number each month. Come join the fun.

The number 65 isn't registered forum members but dues paying members. We have never had all of us together at once but you can bet we will try and yes take pictures.

You might want to consider staying out of Harris County cause of the smog stuff here now.

Galveston and Brazoria counties are not too bad yet as far as inspections go.

Any idea where you will be working when you get here? Needless to say that has alot to do with where you want to live.

Houston "L" owners

Hey John,

I will probably be in the Hwy 6 / 529 area just west of jersey village. The company I work for is going to open a new branch in that area and they want me to be the General Manager so I guess I am getting transferred! My truck is stock so I should'nt have any emissions problems. Are modified "L's" having difficulty with the dyno smog checks?

Ryan,

One of the HALO guys had a slight probelm, but is was corrected quickly. That's all I'm aware of, but ya never know.

No problem with my inspection and I only have a couple mods

Yep you will be working in Harris county and Jerseyvillage is a nice area. Lot of new/newer homes in that area.

Ok.... why haven't you modded yours

Ryan - there's 4 or 5 of us that live in that immediate area. You're gonna be right in my backyard...

Cool "To mod or not to mod, that is the question"

John, I decided not to mod the driveline until I can afford to put a built shortblock and greg's "Monster Box" in. I know my luck with these things so if I had a blower pulley and a chip, most likely I would be on the blown motor, tanked trans, voided warranty list!LOL. Its really cool that there are 4-5 owners in the area that I will be moving to! Once I get down there and find a house I will have to introduce myself to everyone. And check my sig, its not full of JDM,PSP, JL,JJ, etc... toys but I have added a few personal touches. Thanks to all that responded to this thread!
