Hey as iwas eating diner with my best friend we came opon the conversation of a L VS. SS. As the voice tones be came louder and people began to look we stoped and put money one it. I was just wondering if any of yall guys have beat an SS (i know yall have) and by how many lengths.

i beat an SS on the track by about 1/2 a car length, he would have beaten me had it lasted any longer!

In my personal experiences (running a few on the street)

all depends on mods and driver... I know you've heard this story b4... but it's the truth...

Stock vs Stock, equal drivers, the SS will take the cake in a 1/4 run... the L will probably hold a lead for the 1/8th, but after that Mr. SS will come a knockin...

once you bring in mods, all bets are off...

from 60mph+, the SS will always win.... unless the L has some serious mods... damn bricks don't do well at speed...

On the other hand, I haven't lost to one yet, but my races have all been from light to light... usually less than 1/8 mile...
