Man we had a blast up there! Does anyone know who won the classes? I would assume Glidden got it...he had the field covered quite easily! I also saw a black 99 L up there running bracket with an 8:26 1/8 mile dial in! Is it anyone here on the forum? Their tag was from KY......BLNSVT. I tried to find the owner but never saw anyone around the truck.

I think it may have been juicemac78 from the research I have done. Man Kentucky is a beautiful state! I sure love the area where Beechbend is located.

Yep, that was me. The track was in decent shape, but the weather killed my times. Doesn't matter though if you are running brackets! I had a good time anyway and I can't wait to do it again.

I thought it was you! I thought you were running some good times...considering how unbelievably hot it was!! Did you ever get to see a decent pass out of that Viper? It looked like that thing was making some serious horsepower!

The best I saw the Viper run was a 10.77, but it was at 149 mph! I can't imagine what that thing feels like at half track. I think he was fighting problems with it. He did have a nitrous explosion in the previous round.

Man that is some serious MPH! We should get together sometime, my wife and I go up there quite often to Vette functions..(she has a 2000 Vette). I have a black '00 L that I am just starting to mod...stock my truck went an 8:73 and her Vette went an 8:72. I need to stay ahead of her! If I could get my truck running as strong as yours, I wouldn't have anything to worry about! What all mods have you done to your truck? And what is your best 1/8 mile time and MPH?

All of my mods are in my signature. My best 1/8 so far has been an 8.04 which was on my 12.67 pass. That was before my 5# pulley, so with some cooler weather, I am looking for 7.90's in the 1/8th. If you are up this way, email me sometime. Take care.
