Need help setting TPS

I can't seem to get it to adjust. I loosened the screws but it won't turn up or down. Please help. I used Clonetek's thread to help me out, but could not get it to adjust.

Goose,

It doesn't move much at all, and mostly clockwise or counter-clockwise. Just set mine last nite. Couldn't get a good voltage reading, so I moved it untill I liked results.

TPS Adjustment

You might need to use a file to make the screw holes a little bigger, then you should be able to adjust it.

The lowest reading I got by moving the TPS was 1.01. I then turned the screw on the back of the tb and got a reading of .98, so I should be ok right?

Yes, reading is supposed to be less than 1 volt from what Babolt told me. But I don't think the TB screw had anything to do with it.

Yes, turning the t/b screw will move the throttle shaft and the shaft 'moves' the potentiometer inside the TPS. I believe the 'book' tells us to adjust the screw first for a normal idle speed and then adjust the TPS to get .999v or less. Moveing(radially) the TPS will not affect the screw adjustment(idle rpm) though.
