Can you post a copy of your bill from Discount showing the rim change out for $150? I can use this to show them incase they hesitate on the deal. Thanks.

I wonder if you could switch out the stock 01 rim for chrome 00 rims for the same price?

I might have to check into that ...

Later,

Ok Peeples since i work at "discount tire co." i figure ill let you in on a little tire info

nitto sucks the placed last in the bfg road tests
when you get you tires balanced and you dont want those ugly wheel waits on your wheels have them do a alloy 1 balance
that uses tapeweights on the inside of the barrel of the rim and clip weights on the inside of the rim. you wont be able to see any weights but it will still be a dynamic balance, which is better than static which only uses 1 weight.

and if i were to recommend any tire on the market it would either be bfg g-force t/a or comp t/a's they handel good and are superior to most other tires on the market

and dont forget!! haggel the discount tire guys for a good price, they can drop it a quite a bit, plus it keeps them on their toes

My wheels have the lead weights around the inside edge of the wheel, AND the tape weights on the inside of the rim area. At 130+ they are smooth as hell and no hidious weights on the outside of the rim that are visiable.

I truely doubt you'll find those tires for much less than we bought um for. its CRAZY cheap. But if ya do give us details on where ya bought um =)

Good tire, but i doubt you will want 4 of them, being drag radials....unless you did an AWD conversion or something

I am not a fan of the Comp T/A's at all. They are total crap in the rain and are just ok in the dry.

I got 2 F1's for around $180 mounted balanced etc....at the discount tire in Novi, MI.

I should asked them to mount the weights on the inside..but I was in a rush...I will do that next time I go in.
