well it finally happened to mine at 12k,washed it last night no cracks.When i checked on it this morning they were there,must have happened last night.I will be going the dealer this week to see what they say,is there a TSB or whatever on this? does anyone know??

 

My driver side door was cracked. Took it to the dealer and they fixed it no questions asked. This happens to alot of the newer Ford F-150's. I didn't get a new door. They added some sort of brace piece, that Ford supplies, to the inside of the door. Then they welded it and repainted it. Excellent job, couldn't tell it ever happened. Hope this helps. Good luck!!! are any of the 01 or 02 guys having this problem or has it been resolved??

 

I believe that Ford added a small support in the door of the '01's and later.

 

that support brace was installed as preventive maintainance. Anybody had crack repaired or brace installed as PM on a 2k? thanks
