Hoods for the Lightning
Hey guys, need a little help. Does anyone know where I can find the weight of my stock hood vs. the weight of the leading aftermarket hoods? I'm leaning toward the AAD Cobra hood, but I'm open to suggestions. Any help would be great. Thanks in advance!

Chances are a after market (usually fiberglass)is heavier than your stock hood.(aluminum).Most buy the after market for looks not for weight savings.I personaly like the Cervini,but there are alot out there.I think you wont find a lighter hood then your stock hood..Hope this helps

I took some pics of my friends Lightning yesterday. Go to "skank dog" in the f150 galleries to look at them. Im not sure how to post them here. But its a cowl hood from Harwood, they're not even out yet, he just happen to be the lucky one they used to test fit this new design and gave him the hood!
It really looks good! If someone can post the pics here, please do. The hood is fiberglass and is much heavier than the stock unit.
