Half of what I ordered!

the bottom grille will be here soon. had to be shipped from st louis while the other one was shipped from california(i live in CA). too bad i dont have a truck to put them on huh. cant wait to see what they look like.

Where is your truck right now? About to get the new Short block and all?

 

Its in sacramento. the engine is out and disassembled(sp?). the transmission is out to. it has to be boxed up so it can be shiped to gregg for a core refund. the monster box is on its way to sacramento and the shortblock is with sal. he is putting the finishing touches on it. should be done by the end of this week. she(the truck) is coming along pretty good. im going to LA end of this week through the weekend but next week probably thursday or friday im goin up to sacramento to look at the truck. maybe by then the new tranny will be in. im goin to figure out billing and such and take tons of pics.

Hey Joe, I'm up in Sacto here and just wondering where your having all your work done for ya. I know most of the places up here that do Ford work. I always go to a certain place that does most of the work I need done. (Guages and such) That place would be called JT's Mustang and Ford. Just curious where other Lightning owners are getting there work done up here.

 

I get all the money from my mom...shes nice, what can I say.

HCI motorsports... HMM... I think I've heard of it. Any reason you chose them to do the work? (They have a lot of experience with the L's?) Just wondering, maybe I'll go check it out.

 

well i had originally planned on using apex motorsports in santa clara for the install because i knew they were the best shop around here for modulars and have heard many good things about them. we were emailing eachother back and forth for a few months and when it came close to the time of my appt. they said that they do not feel comfortable doing the install so they referred me to HCI. i talked with them and they sounded like they knew what they were talking about so i decided to go with them. they even picked up the truck from my house! so far so good
