i agree, regardless of car brand it was a well written story

 

everyone wants to believe their car is unbeatable, and no one..especially chevy guys..wants to get smacked by a heavy *** FORD truck. Thats the bottom line really

 

I don't know..........recently, I've read more and more posts from guys paying respects to other cars from other makes, than bashing.............from LS1's, to Supras, even Vettes, they all respect our trucks and anythhing SVT..............unfortunately, the GT's still get bashed and get no respect unless they are Vorteched, or something.....................Even the ricers are starting to be nice sometimes................

Wow....I didn't know that the praise of LS1 owners was so important to you guys. I think I can help you guys out.....

The L' is a nice truck. It does a great job of hauling my SS to the track. It even rides pretty good on long road trips. It's even popular with some of the Ladies (my wife likes it at least).

How's that? Is that enough praise?

Let me know if you guys need more. We LS1 owners are here to please.

 

LS1 praise is ok, i guess. but i want more. i'm hoping to get some BMW-Mpraise, or some AMGpraise. i know i'm dreaming, but maybe one day, i'll fly by one of these high society cruising machines, and i'll get a nod, or a thumbs up.

I dont own a lightning, so no I dont need any praise. I was just commenting on how no one posted a reply to support or reject the guys opinion. I have noticed the FORDvsCHEVYvsDODGE thing chill out a bit, but hey, it's like picking a home team sorta speak I guess. The Gts definitly have my respect, my friends GT isnt blown and he could smack about 70% or so of the losers out here that would wanna race him. He doesnt live in a super rich neighborhood though so he doesnt have much competion also. as for the ricers....i cant say i care for those guys much

One thing I like better about my Lightning than the Camaros, Firebirds, Mustangs, Corvettes, etc., is, in the area were I live, I hardly ever see a Lightning.

All those cars I mentioned I see all day, every day. Pretty much the same with the BMWs like M3s, and a few AMG Benzs.

And, I work near an SVT Dealer.

It is neat driving an exclusive and unique vehicle.

 

Ditto on the exclusivity. Even in Atlanta I can go a week without seeing another L on the road. When I take mine out on the weekends, people just stare, at a white one even.

 

Yep, all for fun, i've met plenty of fun compitition. The idiots that kill me are the ones that post "Nope, a Lightning could never beat a Camaro" or "Not even close". Chances are they're not experienced enough to know.

 

In New Orleans we have tons of LS1 s and tons of ricers. But I dont even care because I see soooo many everyday, when I see a Lightning I give the owner a nod or I usually follow them so that I can appreciate how awesome they are
