Do the Hawk pads squeal any. My pads that I have on my truck right now are squealing like a stuck pig and I have only had them on for a little over 15K miles (my stock pads lasted 40K). I got them from a local shop here in Memphis and they are Bendix pads. Anyone know anything about these pads. I personally think they suck.

Brooks, I only notice the temp for the first stop at the end of my street when they are stone cold. It ony takes one stop to warm them. They work fine after one stop.

They are not like race pads, where you drive down the street with one foot on the brake, and one foot on the gas.

99, both the Porterfield's and the Hawk pads are silent. Right now, the rear's are making a little noise. The rotors are warped slightly after 50,000 miles and never having them turned.

Maybe if they sell Hawk pads. Most likely, you'll have to order them from a distributor. Either way, see the link I posted above and/or Speedy's post for part numbers.

I got mine from Bits & Pieces, in Long Beach. The number is in Spike Egr.'s link. I had them the next day.
