I have 2 pics of that little silver PT pickup truck and I believe it will just about kill, stock, any Lightning in here.

It's got, you guessed it a viper engine in it

Personally I think it's really cool, Probally a low 11 second truck that will/could out handle just about anything out there

Found them!

The POS will prolly almost be as popular and practical as the "Assetta" with the big block Olds that was also built as a farce in the mid '60s

Well to each his own!

I raced a Ferrari 360 and smoked his behind, at the next light I think he would of traded me fair and square for his 360. I like that feeling.

With that little PT you could hand every viper and C5 their *****, for probably <30k. Now wouldn't that be fun?

I love my L but I dare not cross the country with it. How much worse can a Dodge be?

Do you plan on doing the trip in only 1 Lightning? You know that there's enought room for another transmission and engine in the back. You could also use the trailer hitch to haul some well needed tools!

Goodluck I know that I'de need it.

the PT-10 is a concept to showcase the acceptability of the viper engine, into their product line. the PT cruiser is built on the "neon" platform

My understanding is that thing is a PT Snoozer with a Viper engine crammed in it. The builder was still having teething problems with it (like, no interior room at all). It was a total one-off attention grabbing display item meant to generate buzz about DCX high-perfomance. The idea is to get people all lathered up with a show car, then sell a bazillion expresso Neons and turbo PTs. They have no intention of building one.

Unlike the SRT/10 truck, right?

I saw a magazine article on this; they also made one with a hemi.
You can have your own with the Viper motor for $75k or with the hemi for only $50k.
