As soon as its in the staging lanes your insurance ends. Its not to bad expense wise, since its mainly for theft.

"Hello. I'd like to make a claim on my drag car. Why yes, it was stolen. They took it off my trailer, staged it, and ran a 6 second 1/8th before it blew up. At least I think that's what happened. We never found the guy."

I received a recall leter from Summit and AutoMeter for all "Short Sweep" Mechanical fuel preasure gauges made between a certain time frame. Apparently there was a defect on the sending unit. I wonder if he had an Auto-Meter Gauge???
